Life after Longdon – Former pupil returns to inspire students

On Friday 4th November former pupil Tyge Ible returned to school to host an assembly on what he has been doing since he left Longdon Hall School.  Tyge left Longdon Hall in Summer 2015 and since then he has successfully completed a Finance Qualification at Solihull College completing 10 exams in the process.

Following on from this he has gained employment in Birmingham city centre working as a Credit Controller for a property management company for the past 5 months.

Tyge spoke to all students in assembly about his experiences, he also supported the Student Council Meeting that he used to be a part of and held a question and answer session in Key Stages 2,3 and 4.

Tyge’s message to students was very clear:

“Set yourself targets and goals and everyday do a bit of work towards achieving them.”
